Residential account's inventory shows other location as parent device

When we assign the inventory to an account and set an IP it shows parent device at the bottom but the parent device is from different location. I checked everything and i try to delete the inventory and re assign it but after some time parent device tab shows up. I need some help to figure out why our residential accounts show up as connected clients in different location.
